Daffodil Tea 2019

Toward Primary School's Got Talent

Laughter, smiles, talent, daffodils and lots of cake were to be found at the annual Toward Primary School Daffodil Tea.  Every year the pupils, staff and parents host this great community event.  The tickets are highly sought after.  Invites go out annually to members of the senior community (over 60 - no ID required!) who have links with Toward.  This year there were over 50 visitors to the event.

The audience were entertained by all of the Toward Primary pupils.  There was singing, highland dancing, fairy tales written by the pupils, and a variety of instruments played including chanter, flutes, fiddles, violin, keyboards and clarinets.  The singing of 'I'm A Spring Chicken' and 'Make Your Own Kind of Music' were outstanding. The entertainment was followed by tea, coffee, cakes and a blether. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Toward Primary School would like to thank all parents/carers and members of our community who helped out on the day, baked cakes and donated to the school.  Their continued support to the school is greatly appreciated.

If you or someone you know meets the invitation criteria please do contact the school to ensure that you don't miss out on this great event next year.
